IT’S A BOY!!!

“….and right there is the little turd….You’re having a boy!” And with that quote from our Ultrasound technician, we were having a son. The ultrasound was amazing! I invited my mother, mother-in-law and husband. I think I was the most calm of the group and my husband couldn’t stop jumping up and down!  She checked and measured everything with success and everything looked normal. The blood flow was good, 4 heart chambers, 2 brain hemispheres, no tail or fins! : )

Here are some of the scans with descriptions because they are hard to decipher at first..

1. Here is a profile shot of the baby kissing the placenta, although it looks like he’s sucking a boob.

2. Here is a shot of the baby’s right leg and foot.

3. Here is a bird’s eye view, looking down, on the head and arms in a praying position.

OMG!!!! How cool is that! I am so thrilled for you both and for me! I cannot wait to hold the little guy and play with him and spoil him! This is when I really do wish we all could be a little closer. We will have to come out soon after he is born.

I am living vicariously through you! I really cannot wait to have a baby! I must wait though…big day in July, then come the babies!

Love ya!
